Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan
Role in Project:
- Leader of WP6
- Leader of Experimental demonstrations
The Royal Institute of Technology (Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, is responsible for one-third of Sweden's capacity for engineering studies and technical research at postsecondary level. The university has nearly 11,000 undergraduate students, 1,500 active postgraduate students and a staff of 3,900 people. KTH is the premier research institution for mobile communications in Sweden, collaborating with industry leaders such as Ericsson, TeliaSonera, and Nokia. The KTH Signal Processing Lab has received numerous prestigious awards, has authored highly cited papers and is experienced in the implementation aspects of wireless systems. Its wireless communication research include: complexity-performance trade-offs; energy efficiency; interference modelling, analysis and avoidance; multi-antenna / multi-user / multicell transmission and scheduling; characterization of radio propagation from multi-node channel measurements; implementation of novel schemes on wireless testbeds; characterization and compensation of I&Q imbalance, phase noise and non-linearities.
